CASA BOLUFER
This 19th century building is one of the biggest in Jávea -20 bedrooms- with an incredible history and eclectic architecture, just like an Italian palazzo. Its strategical location must be the first one to visit, as it was the symbol house of economic power of Jávea.
it all starts with family.
The Bolufer Family was very important, first in the raisin trade and then in politics. They were also, the most senior members of the Liberal Party. When looking at the great windows, it reminds us of figures from the history of Spain who visited and even spent the night in this house in the past, such as Sorolla, Azaña, Campoamor, Ramón y Cajal, Ortega y Gasset... It can be the beginning of the route through the old town, that we will design so that the visitor goes from one place to another through a tosca -natural stone- and time labyrinth, hand in hand with our premises, houses and others. It was, and will be again, the first house of the old town, the flagship of “The Town” by Jessica Bataille. Nowadays the property belongs to Familia Bover-Fernández de Palencia.
WE WANT TO OFFER THAT DECADENT EUROPEAN TRADITION
Dreaming with the golden age of the Côte d’Azur, Casa Bolufer must be that place in Jávea. Hosting a wonderful restaurant, an event hall as well as boutique hotel while a private club could also be an option.
