When Escrivá triumphed, he arrived in Jávea with one purpose in mind, to buy the old finca where his parents had been working for a well-known Jávea family as labourers and landlords, demolish it and build a new one. In one of the rooms of Hemeroscopea there is an emblem that Escrivá made his own "From the Bottom to the Top", with an arrow, so as not to forget his humble origins and the opportunity to prosper and climb the ladder in the difficult elitist society of the last century.

The oldest people in Jávea still remember some of the parties in this house during the golden age of cinema. Few know today and perhaps in those years, that in Hemeroscopea slept Rita Hayworth, Raphael, Manuel Salvador, Pilar Cansino, after the mythical glamorous evenings within the walls of the house of Escrivá.
